**PLEASE NOTE** If you are looking for a dog for breeding purposes only, this is the wrong place to find one! We sell all of our non-show/companion puppies on a strict spay/neuter contract. NO EXCEPTIONS! Show puppies will go to experienced "show" homes only, and references will be checked. However, if you are just entering the wonderful world of Danes and are interested in purchasing a show-quality puppy with the intent of showing him/her in AKC conformation, we would be more than happy to discuss this aspiration with you and assist you in your endeavor. What we do here at "Journey Great Danes" requires years of continuing education, training, mentoring, socialization, time, and sincere dedication to make our Danes the champions they are today. Our goal is to ensure our dogs are worthy of the preservation, as well as the betterment of the breed. While we do not breed our puppies as a primary source of income, operational overhead is always a factor when choosing any hobby, sport or passion and must be considered when establishing a selling price. It is very costly to raise, show, and keep our Danes in the best condition. The cost of breeding with a well-respected stud dog, testing and related fees that can go into breeding a champion bitch must also be considered. Therefore, as with all reputable breeders, you will find the quality of our puppies will far exceed your expectations versus what you would see in dogs raised by a novice. We will never advertise in the newspaper or any unethical manner as referenced by the Great Dane Club of America and it's affiliates.
